Nice, warm shade. Have it hanging above my couch instead of a floor lamp because I am tight on space.

First thing, this comes with pretty good and well written instructions to install and make ready. The quality on the product is like a thick type of cloth material but still thin enough for light to protrude out of the ball. Once put together, the diameter of the lampshade 12 inches all around, this is approximate. Once hung up, it gives my room a comfortable and calm look. Overall, I’d have to say this a good value for the money.

This lamp provides exactly the lantern effect I was looking for, but because it's made of silk, the quality is excellent, and the light has a soft, silky feel to it. I wish I could put one in every room. I didn't use the included light bulb; it was too yellow. I bought a smart dimmable bulb and replaced it. The effect is great.

I haven’t installed this lamp shade yet, but I have looked it over thoroughly and I am happy with it. It is going to replace a shade that is virtually identical only made from paper instead of fabric, like this one is. In terms of appearance? What you see is exactly what you get. I haven’t actually measured mine but just eyeballing it the sizing appears accurate. And in terms of quality? I am certainly not any sort of expert on lamp shade construction and all I can really compare it to is my similar looking, paper shade, but I would say it is better made than that one if only due to material. Bottom line? What you see is what you get and it seems at least reasonably well made.
